Why Religious Acceptance?
Do you think that if we all know enough about other religions , its values and principles we will be able to better communicate with people of different religions.
It is so clear to me that teaching our kids about basic life principles and how each religious scriptures speak about it, would move us to religious acceptance and world peace.For example how about teach a first grader about what each religion talks about Gob,father , mother and family.Imagine in a short period of time , in 15 yrs we will have a everyone under 30 years gone through this education.This world can benefit from a common higher vision which all of us can stand behind.

You make a very good point. It starts with the education of our children.
ReplyDeleteMany of the injustices that we see in the world would be avoided if we truly practiced compassion and understanding with each other. Love for humanity starts with love in our own hearts. Peace in the world starts with inner peace in ourselves.
It is about transending, and realizing that we are all one. We are connected by love. What we do to our brother, we do to ourselves and visa versa.
